Here’s the promise: triple my coaching leads in X weeks. This is my 19th straight week of posting updates on the journey.
Did it work?
Yes and No.
Yes, I am more visible.
No, I have not secured any additional business.
I committed to weekly content and saw my profile views grow, but not dramatically. Consistency beats cleverness.
Research shows steady effort beats sporadic brilliance. A TalentSmart survey found 90% of top performers succeed because of self-discipline and habits, not just innate cleverness. The Journal of Applied Psychology reports that employees who consistently meet targets are 2.5 times more likely to be promoted.
For small business owners, try these 3 steps this week (I’m doing this and seeing results):
1. Schedule your content: Plan 3 posts this week focused on your expertise—short, helpful, and consistent. (You’ll see these this week.)
2. Set a daily action: Spend 15 minutes each day engaging your audience or refining your message (needs improvement).
3. Track content frequency: Measure how often you post or interact—aim for a steady, predictable presence. (I track daily, but need to review more interaction.)
By focusing on steady effort, you build trust and authority that clever one-offs can’t match. An easy metric is content frequency—how often you share or engage. Keep it regular and watch your visibility grow.
I am seeing this already after 19 weeks.
What specific consistent action will you commit to this week to build your business? Tell us below so we can support and encourage each other.
Share your plans or results — I’d love to hear, and I am sure others would as well — after all, as business owners, we are all looking for the first step: being seen, possibly considered, and eventually engaged.
